Families still struggle to keep up with busy schedules. CURAGO’s Founders, who are still raising their own young families, constantly found themselves overloaded with emails, texts, paper flyers, and multiple apps to keep up with it all. Even with the amazing technology available at our fingertips, the disconnect of important information actually making it to the family calendar results in a time consuming process of sorting and compiling all of the information to traditional methods.
CURAGO was born out of a simple realization: The way we stay connected has changed. They way we organize our families hasn’t.
The Founders set out to create a family management platform to empower families to take charge of their scheduling, and embrace technology to do so. The name CURAGO itself is a Latin term meaning ‘take charge’.
Family Life is Social and Cooperative.
Parenting today is a collaborative effort. Families are no longer defined by those living under one roof, but also consist of the community around them. CURAGO’s Founders of realized that the platform must not limit itself to a closed family calendar, but instead embrace the unique family ecosystem by allowing others outside of the family to share and participate in the family’s events without sharing the family’s entire calendar.
CURAGO officially launched Beta Version 1 in early 2017. Version 1 provided valuable insight, proof of concept, and feedback which was used create CURAGO Version 2, which made it’s debut in the App Store in June 2018. Version 2 offers an updated look and powerful new features as well as unique customization options. CURAGO will be launching Version 2 across multiple platforms by the end of 2018.
