Overloaded with email, texts, flyers and multiple apps we found ourselves struggling to maintain our busy family schedule. During several discussions we discovered that each of us were using a different process to manage our family’s calendar and each had its limitations. Amazed there was not a universal system in place we embarked on the challenge of building an easy to use platform that would work for all.
Armed with plenty of life experience as parents and driven by the desire to improve the lives of families, we began sketching a platform with a focus on centered communication. Through this process, CURAGO was born and we began our journey to build the best family organizer and make it available to all. We chose CURAGO as our name and feel that its Latin translation “to manage, take charge” is a perfect fit.
We officially launched CURAGO in late 2016 and have begun empowering families in all stages of life to “take charge” and “manage” their busy calendar by sharing their events, lists and to-do’s. Understanding that a family schedule requires interaction beyond the immediate family we gave our users the ability to share events and lists with participants outside of their family. Our focus remains on empowering families to live well, spend time wisely, and make more time for what matters most.
